Aquilifer 5-25X56 FFP Optics Rifle Scope

The 5-25x56 combines four precision features essential for 1,000+ yard shooting: a 56mm ED glass objective delivering sharper detail and improved color fidelity at maximum magnification; a First Focal Plane Christmas Tree (X-Tree) MRAD reticle with holdover marks that stay accurate across the full 5–25x range; 0.1 MRAD turrets with 26 MRAD total elevation travel for dialing extreme drops; and a 34mm main tube providing maximum structural rigidity and adjustment travel. Customer-verified at 1,200 yards.

The 34mm main tube provides three key advantages over a 30mm tube: greater internal adjustment travel (26 MRAD elevation vs. the typical 15–18 MRAD on 30mm scopes), a more rigid one-piece construction that better handles recoil on heavy magnum and precision rifle calibers, and better compatibility with high-quality 34mm ring systems used in PRS and F-Class competition. It is the preferred tube diameter for dedicated long-range precision optics.

The Christmas Tree reticle features a center vertical stadia for elevation holdovers, with horizontal wind leads that spread progressively outward at lower hash marks — resembling a tree shape. On the FFP 5-25x56, every MRAD graduation on the reticle scales proportionally at any magnification. To use for wind: estimate wind speed and direction, identify the corresponding horizontal hash mark for your range, and aim off center without touching the windage turret. This allows rapid corrections on a moving target or shifting wind conditions.

The 5-25x56 features side parallax adjustment from 15 yards to infinity. The 15-yard minimum makes it uniquely versatile — capable of parallax-free focus at close distances for airgun or rimfire use, all the way to ELR (extreme long-range) targets. At 25x magnification, parallax correction is critical: even a small eye position shift can cause significant reticle movement and missed shots at distance. The side-mounted dial enables one-hand adjustment without breaking shooting position.

The 5-25x56 uses a 34mm main tube, requiring 34mm scope rings or a 34mm cantilever mount — standard 30mm rings will not fit. Aquilifer's own 34mm cantilever mount is directly compatible. At 398mm length and 1.15 kg, it suits precision bolt-action rifles, PRS chassis systems, and any Picatinny-railed platform. High rings are recommended to clear the large 56mm objective lens. The scope is nitrogen-purged and O-ring sealed for full waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof performance.
